Cole Betteridge Wins 2022 Coxmoor Cockerel

More wins for our Eagle Ambassadors this week with Elite Am,  Cole Betteridge winning The Coxmoor Cockerel for the 2nd time.

The annual 36 hole event was played on Sunday 14th August at Coxmoor Golf Club. Cole shot a very solid 70 (-2 under par) in the opening round. This sat him in 2nd place behind fellow Sherwood Forest Golf Club Member & Eagle Ambassador, Mark Porter who shot 69 (-3).

In the afternoon round, our freshly shirted, Cole, started solid with a bogey free 2 under par on the opening 9 holes.

He then made his only bogey of the round on the Par 3, 10th hole, before letting loose a 6 under, 6 hole stretch.

He closed his round with an unreal finish of Birdie, Par, Birdie, Eagle, Birdie, Birdie to win by 6 clear strokes.
