3rd Birthday open at sherwood forest golf club
On Thursday 6th April we hosted our 1st event at Sherwood Forest Golf Club to celebrate our 3rd Birthday. It doubled up as a launch party for our the new Pimento Cheese Sandwich collection and the start of one of our favourite majors of the year The Masters.
A huge thank you to those of you who made the event, the feedback we have received from our open has been amazing, and it seems as though everyone had a blast, which makes us so happy. There was some fantastic golf played despite the tough conditions.
A special thanks to SFGC for allowing us to host the event at ttheir amazing course, Simon, Stuart, Craig and all the staff were amazing from start to finish and the course speaks for itself, beautiful.
A massive congratulations to all the winners & another thank you to all the sponsors who supported us with prizes and throughout the process. The sponsors are:

We also raised a whopping £1085 for Myeloma UK on the day. Robbie said “I can’t thank you all enough for your generosity in this effort. As mentioned on the day, that very morning Myeloma UK has just funded my Dad to go on a Clinical Trial for a treatment which will hopefully improve his Cancer Markers better than his 4 previous treatments. A special thanks to Gross Winner Sam Sanghera who very kindly put his prize up for auction on the night with all proceeds going to charity. Thank you, Sam”. You can still donate to the cause via the link here. Robert French is fundraising for Myeloma UK (justgiving.com) . If you have not heard of Myeloma UK before be sure to check them out here.
Another special thanks to Jim White at White23 who was the man looking after the sign up & scoring throughout the day. He made it seamless throughout and certainly stress free. If you have a golf day and would like the live scoring, images and videos, Jim is a fantastic asset to have. Jim’s LinkedIn profile is here – (28) Jim White | LinkedIn
It was great to see so many people representing Eagle Apparel Golf on the day. We also saw a lot of our new Pimento Cheese Sandwich collection on show. The launch was well received and the feedback we had on the new collection was that it was so subtle not many realised that the icons on the clothing were the Pimento Pepper, Cheese, Masters Cup, and White Bread. You can see them below. The subtle touch makes for a clean design and is a nod to the famous Pimento Cheese Sandwich that you see being served at Augusta National in April.

Congratulations to Jon Rahm on winning The Masters after a long weekend of crazy weather prolonging the rounds. It’s great to see another winner from Europe taking home the Green Jacket.
